Please Note: Registering for Hamilton Spring Ultimate does not guarantee that your child will be accepted into the program or placed on a team. We do everything we can to place all registrants on a team appropriate to their grade and skill level, but there may be circumstances that prevent us from doing so. These circumstances typically include roster limitations and practice/game scheduling conflicts. And remember, while Ultimate is a "non-contact" sport, contact happens. Issues regarding player safety may also be considered.

To register, you need to complete the following 4 steps:  (instructions below)

  1. Register your player through our online Registration Form
  2. Create a DiscNW Player Account
    • Skip this step if your player already has an account
  3. Mail a check for $100
  4. Complete and submit the NEW medical and liability waivers
  5. Check your status!

1. Register with Hamilton Ultimate

2. Create a DiscNW Player Account

All players (and a parent/guardian) MUST have a registered account on the DiscNW website. Once coaches submit team rosters, players and parents will be prompted to electronically sign required documents, including a concussion waiver and an activity release form. The DiscNW site also sends automatic reminders on game times, and allows players to set their status/availability for upcoming games.

Note: If your player already has an account registered with DiscNW, then you don't need to do anything. You will receive a reminder to sign the required documents once the rosters have been submitted by the coaches.

3. Mail a Check

  • Full Season Dues : $100 / player.  If you indicated on the registration form that you were willing to contribute to our ultimate scholarship fund, please include that amount as well.  Thank you!
  • Make checks payable to:  Mary L. Freeman
  • Please place your player's name in the memo.
Send Checks to our Treasurer:

Mary L. Freeman

If you indicated a desire to donate to our scholarship fund, please add the amount to your check.

No one is denied access to play due to monetary reasons.

4. Waivers  NEW!!

  • We have 3 new waiver and liability forms. These are required and players WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE until these forms have been completed and submitted.
We no longer require the original Medical Waiver that was previously on this site.
  • Paper versions of these waivers can be:
                   a) deposited in a folder outside Ms. Sarah Griffith's classroom (Rm. 333) at HIMS  or
                   b) turned into a coach before the first Placement practice  or
                   c) scanned and emailed to hamiltonhawksultimate@gmail.com

Required Waivers

Note: We understand that much of the info on these forms is redundant, and that many of you may have completed these forms for a previous event through DiscNW. We need these as well because Hamilton Ultimate is a private club not sponsored by HIMS. We are not covered for liability under DiscNW or the Seattle School District. When we practice, we are covered under an insurance agreement between Hamilton Ultimate (our club) and USA Ultimate (the national organization). All players and coaches are required to have medical insurance. If your family does not have medical insurance, please email us at hamiltonhawksultimate@gmail.com. We will arrange for you to be covered under our insurance while participating in Spring League.
